I felt like a VIP from the moment I was greeted. Such a beautiful, light-filled salon with kind staff. Desiree gave me one of the best shampoos and scalp massages that I’ve ever had and gave me tips to keep my hair healthy. I just moved to the area and I’m glad to have found this gem. 5 star spot!

My husband knows how exhausting being a working mom with a toddler can be, so to help me relax, he purchased a gift card to Andrew Michaels. I was excited to see they offer so many services, but settled on a one hour massage with Shannon and spa pedicure with Liz. The experience was wonderful. The facility was clean, pretty, and comfortable and felt like a luxurious oasis in Salem. The massage helped my sore muscles relax, and the pedicure has my winter feet looking much prettier and softer. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would definitely like to come back!

I was amazed at this sanctuary tucked right into downtown Salem! What a treasure! For the experience, the price for my massage was of value! I would LOVE to plan a spa day there with friends in the future and my massage therapist Shannon LISTENED to me (imagine?!) and worked through my tougher spots while others just spend a few extra minutes there! I came in today on my first ever visit to the salon and sat for Abby, who did a beautiful job on my hair. She was so friendly and outgoing on top of being talented. The business is a beautiful space to be in and it seems very clean and well cared for. The front desk staff was also very polite and warm. I will absolutely be back. I’ve found my new salon/spa. Speaking of spa, I can’t wait to explore those offerings as well. I wish I could bring by best friend so we could have massages at the same time so neither of us has to wait for the other, but I’m sure we’ll make a beautiful day of it anyway. I also wish there were more parking but what can ya do, it’s Salem, and it’s October, so… that’s not really a fixable situation. Haha. All things said and done I will definitely be back. If I could make a suggestion though, it would be to expand your service descriptions on your website. Just makes everything more enticing. Like, describe the scalp massage during the hair wash, and the experience of sitting in the stylist chairs in that beautiful studio space… editorialize your website a bit more I think it’ll boost customer buzz. That’s all. Loved my visit, and already booked my next cut. Xo

Sherrie greeted me warmly and directed me to where my stylist Desiree met me . Desiree listened to my idea for a haircut and gave me a fabulous cut and blow dry ! I visited Andrew Michael’s Salon today. From the appointment booking process , to when I left the Salon , the atmosphere and service was friendly , warm and welcoming ! Sherrie greeted me warmly and directed me to where my stylist Desiree met me . Desiree listened to my idea for a haircut and gave me a fabulous cut and blow dry ! My hair smelled and looked so good when. Left ! Thank you to all ! P.S. I love the building also ,! The space is so clean and lovely and being there brings back fond childhood memories of reading many books when it was the library ! Exceptional Experience !

I have to admit I've been wanting to try the spa services at Andrew Michaels for a while but I've been too nervous to try it. Then I desperately needed my hair cut and they are right around the corner from me so I booked a haircut, figuring it would help me finally get through the door. I was so glad I did! Everyone was so friendly that I immediately lost my nervousness and Abigail listened to me explain about my hair and made great suggestions. I can't style it in the cute bob she did but my hair looks so much better with a great cut and style. I am definitely going back for my haircuts and now I plan to try out some of the spa services. I would highly recommend Andrew Michaels!

I took my sister, for her birthday to get a wash and style and her makeup done by Esther. I also had my hair washed and styled and had makeup done. Esther is very talented and very down to earth. She did exceptional job on my makeup. I wanted only natural looking makeup - since I never wear it! I also have sensitive eyes (to fragrances and have dry eye as well). It felt like I had nothing on...no irritation whatsoever as well. This was kind of a miracle for me as I'm 59 and have never really worn makeup.....but as I'm getting older I feel washed out so I wanted to try it. Esther is really exceptional and I'd highly recommend her. Even though both my sister and I are from out of state, I believe we will be going back just for her talent! Beautiful salon, very welcoming and parking across the street.

That is a lot to deal with at such a popular salon but it did not show! They are very professional. I received a brazilian wax from Lydia. Very kind, sweet and down to earth woman. She made me feel comfortable for my first time getting this type of waxing done and also gave me some advice about my face (she noticed some breakouts and I appreciated what she had to say) even though I was there for a wax haha! She made me feel comfortable for my first time getting this type of waxing done and also gave me some advice about my face (she noticed some breakouts and I appreciated what she had to say) even though I was there for a wax haha! I highly recommend this Salon

I've been a customer for more years than I care to list in print. I will absolutely continue to go to AM for services. Tammy is my stylist, lovely and skilled, she has spent time considering and tweeking to hit upon the most natural hair color for me as possible -- I am complimented on my hair constantly. Esther is my esthetician and she is also highly skilled and a lovely person to boot. And, of course, we cannot forget the most lovely Sheri who is a bright light greeting everyone as they call and arrive. It is the professionalism of these women along with the professionalism of the rest of the staff that makes a visit comfortable and relaxing, with a more sophisticated atmosphere than other local salons I've been to. And the recent rehab of the web site which allows me to make appointments online is an added bonus.
